Started in the Industry:
Education:
2014
BA from Indiana University
Positions/Career Journey:
I have always had a desire to assist others and advocate for their needs. I started my journey as a social worker and after a few years of crossover with the CRT world while working with ALS clients, I decided to dive in headfirst. This is a rather small industry that has a large impact on an individual's life, and I love being able to assist them in obtaining or maintaining their independence. My goal was and still is to advocate for our clients and improve their quality of care and assist them in getting the equipment they need as quickly as possible. Being a part of KJK has offered opportunities to build a strong structure and think outside the box to best help our clients and I appreciate the ability to collaborate with great minds who have been in the industry for decades.
Personal Interests:
Outside of work, I am fairly boring. I am an animal lover with a bad habit of rescuing dogs. I currently have 2 pit mixes that keep me on my toes. I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with family and friends. I am always up for trying new things and can often be caught at classes and events learning something new.
